I have to ask what the realtek audio management software does that you need it for. But I do know that when I'm streaming on discord with an external usb dac/amp and an onboard input with a modmic, I get crosstalk which has me believing that part is software based. I don't know if it's an onboard thing or something to do with the wiring after the output/input. But to address your original problem, headsets have an unfortunate side effect of bleeding output with input.
